The question comes up in every brief: how much does a corporate photographer cost? The honest answer is that the price depends primarily on what you want photographed. A portrait for your website, a full headshot, an activity report, or a gala evening all require different amounts of time, equipment, and deliverables. The price is always determined on a case-by-case basis.
One last point before we get to the figures: the price of a service is based on two distinct elements: the photo shoot itself and the transfer of image usage rights. This often explains the differences between two quotes that otherwise seem comparable.
When it comes to photographing an entire team, the logic changes: billing is no longer based on individual portraits, but on volume. In the Parisian market, the price per person often drops to between 30 and 80 euros as the number of participants increases, for a total budget ranging from 250 to 1,500 euros depending on the number of employees.
Parisian rates are about 50 percent higher than the national average for corporate photography and 15 to 20 percent higher for event photography. The UPP (Union of Professional Photographers) rates set the minimum for a professional day at around 700 to 1,200 euros: a significantly lower rate should raise concerns about reduced services or very limited usage rights.
Corporate headshots remain the most common request. In the Parisian market, expect to pay between €100 and €200 per person for entry-level services, including a quick shoot and light retouching. This format is ideal for small teams who want a clean and consistent result.
The number of people, the duration of the shoot, the level of staging, retouching, and deadlines all affect the final price. But the most frequently underestimated factor remains usage rights: the price of the shoot and the price of the rights transfer are two separate elements, and it's perfectly normal to see them listed separately on a serious quote.
Activity photography starts at around €750 for a half-day (ranging from €400 to €1,500), and from €1,000 to €3,000 for a full day, up to €5,000 for high-end services including location scouting and staging. Event coverage (seminars, conferences, parties) is often billed by the hour, around €150 to €200, with a full day costing between €1,300 and €3,000.
For a professional portrait, with pose direction, carefully crafted lighting, and meticulous retouching, the price range is typically between €250 and €500 per person. High-end portraits, with true art direction, sets, or extended sessions, start around €800 and can exceed €1,500. These price differences reflect the time spent, the level of preparation, and the final product, not an arbitrary price.
This article provides realistic price ranges, observed in the Parisian market in 2025 and 2026, scenario by scenario. These are market benchmarks, not a fixed price list: each service is priced on a quote basis, according to your objectives. The aim is to help you budget accurately and understand the implications of a quote.
Before signing, ask the right questions: how many final photos, what retouching is included, within what timeframe, and for what purposes? A clear quote per scenario is always better than a vague package, and it's the sign of a professional who knows their stuff.
A concrete example: a group of around twenty employees often costs around €1,500, which works out to less than €75 per portrait. For about fifty people, the unit cost can drop to around €30 per person. The larger the team, the cheaper the individual portrait becomes.
